Research Centres
Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) has 2 research centres, namely the Centre for Applied Mechanics, Design and Manufacturing (CAMDM), and the Centre for Robotics & Electrical Systems (CRES). These two centres are set up for information sharing among different expertise interest groups and also for the collaborative usage among faculty members in their research fields.

These two research centres are categorised as the engineering cluster of MMU Research Clusters. There are altogether six research centres in this engineering cluster. Another four research centres are:
- Centre for Multimedia Security & Signal Processing (CMSSP)
- Centre for Broadband Communications (CBC)
- Centre for Advanced Devices and Systems (CADS)
- Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS)
